A garden mower serves to be a great appliance used in gardens for mowing the grass on the lawn area. There are different kinds of mowers available on the market that can be bought to suit the needs and requirements of the customer and their garden. There are generally two major types of garden mowers, rotary and cylinder mowers. The rotary mower is suitable for places in which the grass has been neglected for some time. 

On the other hand, the cylinder mower is specially designed for its efficient cleaning properties and producing a neat lawn. These mowers are usually used in tennis courts and places in which the lawn needs to be neat and professional looking.

 It is important to consider the power which operates the garden mower before making a purchase. There are petrol and electricity run mowers. Electrical mowers are a bit lighter in weight, easy to use and inexpensive. But, if used in dense lawn area, it can actually get tangled between the grasses. These mowers are perfect for use in bigger areas.

Petrol mowers are, on other hand, ideal for use in larger stretches of lawn as they do not require any electrical connection. These mowers require more maintenance and are more expensive than electric mowers. There are some lawn mowers which are powered specially by rechargeable batteries. These mowers are quite useful although they are not as efficient as other mower models. It is important that the mower should be chosen diligently and safely. The right kind of lawn mower should be chosen by the individual who will use it.
