The Perfect Bathroom Mirror
Considering that most of us look into our bathroom mirror several times during the course of a day, it is surprising to discover that it is one of the least likely items to be replaced. However, installing a new bathroom mirror need not cost as much as you think.
Take a look around your bathroom. What style have you based the overall design on? Whatever it might be the crucial thing is to complement your new mirror with the rest of the bathroom accessories. So whatever your chosen design, rustic, traditional or contemporary, be sure to buy a bathroom mirror to match.
Consider an appropriate size. If you buy a smaller mirror than the one you now have, remember you will have to repaint or re-tile the surrounding area. Whatever you do, make sure you do not buy an enormous mirror that will dwarf the other bathroom accessories.
Shape is another frequently overlooked point. Is your bath or sink round or square? If your bathroom is filled with rounded curves, a square or rectangular mirror may look out of place.
Think of other alternatives to the conventional framed or unframed mirror. A mosaic of smaller mirrors could prove a focal point framed in daring materials, such as leather. Stones or cut glass also offer a stylish alternative or try painting the frame in a contrasting colour to the rest of the bathroom.
Depending on your budget, there is no reason not to take as much care over your choice of bathroom mirror as the rest of your bathroom accessories.
